Classic 80's Rap-o-mmercials
Do you like this story?
There was a time, before google, youtube, and the Internet. A time when "New Coke" prevailed, and Nintendo was the shiznit. This time...was the 1980's.
Back in the 80's, people in the marketing industry were having a brain fart. They wanted to keep their commercials "fresh" and "chill". How did they handle such a challenge? Rap. Yes. Rap. Especially from people who should not be rapping. Hip-hop was up and coming at the time, so their collective brains thought it would be a super dope fresh idea to fuse rap and commercials. God were they wrong.
Balky rapping? Really? Someone gave this a green light? I'm guessing that this was part of their "Must see" Tuesday nights....
The power of Grayskull couldn't save this steaming mess.
This is the true power of the Tri-force. This is what took down Gannon. I hope this is not what I sounded like 25 years ago.
***BONUS***
Even Wendy's got in on the act. This is a Rap-Training video on how to flip burgers. Thankfully, this was never aired on TV...only Wendys "insiders" got a sneak peak on this (i.e. employee training). Who knew the little redhead was gangsta....
You're Welcome and I'm out.....
