George Steinbrenner Passes Away
Do you like this story?
He bought the team for close to 9 million and now the team is worth 1.5 billion. The reason I can say "the team" is because he made it not New York's team, not the USA's team, but the World's most popular team. To quote the late George Steinbrenner, "Owning the Yankees is like owning the Mona Lisa." Remember kids if there's such a thing as a good loser why do we keep score and that's what big George was all about.
