Mayor Mallory Worst 1st Pitch Ever: Video of the Day

I can literally watch this clip of the Mayor of Cincinnati, Mayor Mallory, throwing out the 1st pitch at a Red's baseball game. A man with no arms can literally throw a better pitch. Jimmy Kimmel gives him a chance to redeem himself in todays Video of the Day.

Eric Davis, George Foster, and even the great Pete Rose gave this man advice just moments before he threw the pitch out. Apparently, there was no correcting his "throwing like a Nancy" syndrome. I don't understand how someone can throw this bad. Sure there's a little added pressure throwing in front of people, but this guy is a Mayor, that excuse goes right out the window. Mayor's love being in front of audiences.

To add insult to injury Kurt Russell, a guest that night on the show, makes fun of Mayor Mallory's balk just before the pitch. Hilarious.

I'd love to know what Eric Davis, an all star Red's player and the catcher in this video, was thinking as the ball sailed closer to the 1st base bag than to home plate. If they were kids in the school yard he'd probably abuse him and punch him in the stomach. 35 years later he's gotta smile and say good throw Mayor.

This video is hilarious, especially the redemption throw, which is awful by the way. However, Tosh.0 did a skit on this pitch that I cannot seem to find. That video is video of the year. Oh well this will do. Enjoy.
