Kanye West/Taylor Swift: Video of the Day

So I watched the VMA's last night, not because I DVRed it or anything like that, but because my girl made me watch it I swear. Not like I had it on any type of scheduled recording. This being said Kanye West did his best to be the night's D bag and it worked. We got the video...

Now the show was a complete disaster with the new, usual cast of idiots. Some guy named Lady GaGa was there in full drag and the show's returning host, Russell Brand if you closed your eyes sounded like the Geico lizard with even worse jokes. The only band probably playing instruments was Green Day...and I liked them when they were The Clash.

But let's talk about what every person else on Facebook, Twitter, text, written letter, whatever, was talking about. The Kanye West interruption of the Taylor Swift speech. Again this toolshed goes after a deer in a cage, embarrassing the shit out of 15 year old, country singing hottie in the making.

I looked at this from many angles. At first, I said, maybe this is fake, kinda like a hip hop Andy Kaufman move. As the night went on I'm like ehhh.

Also I think this worked perfectly for this Taylor Swift girl and Kanye West. Good ol case of Bad Publicity is Good Publicity. Works all the time. Beyounce even looks like a god now to jerks who love her for allowing Taylor Swift to finish her speech during her acceptance speech.

Lastly, I thought hey this might work out great for the shift of the music industry. Maybe the hip hop scene will scene will finally take a step back to better music. Then again, scratch that, Jay-Z came out at the end like the Messiah came down to bless the masses. Barf. Peep the video below.
