I actually set out to do a post on this video here of Snooki and JWOW making a video imitating Yiddish women using Yiddish accents in an attempt to go after The View host Joy Behar.  Write it down right now.  This is the official start of the slide down for the cast members of the Jersey Shore.  It's right when they start to get all full of themselves and start to take themselves seriously that all of a sudden their dynamic changes.  They now don't want people to make fun of them, they want to be treated as serious artistic individuals.

It is at that moment that the act suddenly gets old.  It's happened over and over and over in the past.  Think Zoolander walking up to the podium to accept Hansel's award.  You are clowns.  The popularity of the show is that you are in fact trash and people like to laugh at you.  Appreciate that.  You've made a lot of money off of it.  Take it for what it is.  When you start to use antisemitism-like means to rebut people who do not accept your lifestyle, all of a sudden you are trying to state to the world: " Hey, I hang out with Paris Hilton.  I demand to be taken seriously.
