Amy Fisher to strip to feed dying Haitian orphans

When awesome becomes "Awesomer," we here at The Nudge take note. Former would-be-assassin and current adult entertainer Amy Fisher is doing something that should have been thought up a long, long time ago, stripping to raise money for dying orphans that were affected by the recent earthquake on the island of Haiti.

And guess what?  According to her husband, she's not a pole climber she's more of a humanitarian in the great tradion of Gandhi and Malcolm X.



NY Daily News reports:

The Long Island Lolita will be donating tips from her upcoming topless dancing shows in Commack to a Haitian relief charity, Newsday.com reported.

Fisher is slated to perform Thursday, Friday and Saturday at Commack’s Scene Restaurant & Lounge, her husband, Lou Bellera, said.

”She’s not a pole-climber,” he told Newsday. “She wears a showgirl costume – she’s like a politician, greeting the crowds.”

Fisher will no doubt try to raise funds like a politician while cavorting on stage like a politician’s plaything.

At Saturday's show, she'll not only donate her tips to a Haitian charity, but she'll match those tips, Bellera said. The Scene will also match her tips as will a Long Island radio show host.

The only thing better than donating money to charity while sitting in a strip club watching Amy Fisher up on stage would be to sit next to Joey Buttafuocco as he sips on his Pina Colada and say's to you under his breath, "Been there, done that.  She used to be skinnier back when she was shooting at my wife."

And to think, that all could happen in Commack, Long Island this weekend.  What a country America, what a country
